When The Brass Gods of Law went mad, they destroyed everything they touched. Devouring their priests, their cities, and all their wondrous works of advanced sciences and technologies. But in their final death throes, the Brass Gods summoned one thing back to life: the devastating Warmachten; their deactivated children, war-machines long thought eradicated during the Wars of the Sorcerer Kings.

It would take centuries and many ruling Dynasties of House Napolia, before the Warmachten began to stir.
